Overview

It's twenty years after Optimus Primal defeated Megatron and reformatted the entire planet into a techno-organic paradise. Cheetor and his Maximal comrades were given full authority over the populace by the people, the Maximal High Council and the Tripredacus Council slaughtered in Megatron's initial takeover. Since then, Cheetor, now called Cheetorimus Prime, has used his connection with the Oracle to guide the planet to at least a partial semblance of peace, save for a few malcontents who hate their organic forms. Then, for reasons unknown, Cheetorimus calls a meeting of all young Cybertronians, and names a young group of former Predacon warriors, each with personalities as varied as their alternate modes, as the protectors of Cybertron, declaring that a new evil is on the horizon. One so great that it could tear the planet apart.

One that manifests itself when Waspinator shows up. Only somehow he has been reformatted back into his Vehicon body, Thrust, and has a small army of drones with him.

He and Cheetorimus trade banter for a moment, and then Thrust attacks, revealing that he too has become an avatar, an avatar of the greatest force of evil in the universe, Unicron, who wants Cybertron under his control. Several of the young Transformer warriors there want in on it, including a hell-raising young woman named Starscream who was the loudest of the malcontents. Thrust reformats them all, turning them into Vehicons and sending all save Cheetor's troops, a few brave souls, and the five Predacon warriors scattering. The battle seems even at first, but then Thrust reveals his trump card: the Fortress Body of Megatron, reformatted and given a robotic alternate mode. Cheetor's warriors as well as the few who stayed to fight fought bravely, but the Fortress Robot, which Thrust named Megabolt, was simply too powerful. So Cheetorimus activates his trump card, and reformats once more the five former Predacons who he named as Cybertron's protectors.

They become a gestalt, a powerful, nearly invincible force: the new Predaking, disposing of Megabolt easily, sending both drone and Thrust, along with Starscream and the other newly converted Vehicons, fleeing for their lives.

Predaking becomes the five again, and Cheetorimus charges them with an important task: Make their way to the center of Cybertron and find Megatron, who has been living reformatted and alone at the center of the planet, recruiting him to the side of good before Thrust finds him and takes him to his side. So the reluctant warriors head out, deep within the bowls of the planet. The five must now learn to be a true team, to maintain the Predaking gestalt while maintaining their individual lives and fending off Thrust, Starscream, and their army of Vehicon drones. Each one must confront and overcome their own personal demons along the way. There will be strife, and there will be losses on both sides, losses that will galvanize each individual group. There will be revelations, from what truly happened between Windrider and Slog, the truth behind what happened to Ballistic in the Alacon, and the dark secret of Protoform X and the Omicron massacre, a secret that only Tahoma knows. But in the end, they will pull together to become a true gestalt, to bring Predaking to his ultimate power

They have to.

For at the end of their quest in Megatron, who has lost everything and been trapped in Cybertron's core for twenty years. Reformatted and revived by the Matrix and by Optimus into a techno-organic dragon, he has been trapped, unable to transform. Twenty years of loneliness and bitterness that have played on his already wavering sanity and have turned him into a complete, raving lunatic. And now Thrust's Vehicons and Tahoma's Predacons must each on their own try to convince Megatron that their cause is the best. The problem is, they must also try to live through the attempt ...

Speed: 9.0
Endurance: 9.0
Rank: 10.0
Courage: 10+
Firepower: 10+
Skill: 9.0

Of all the Knights Of Primus, he is the least fond of their current situation. A battlefield commander before Megatron's invasion, he greatly preferred his fully robotic form to his techno-organic form. But he rarely made mention of it, save for questions whenever he encountered a member of the new ruling council. Eternally dissatisfied with their answers, and desperately not wanting a part of this, he leads anyway. He'd rather not, but with the horror of a deadly mistake in his past, one that cost the sparks of several great Predacon warriors, he is determined not to fail again. In beast mode, his roar can disrupt Vehicon communications for hours, his claws capable of rending even Pulse's superthick shell. In robot mode, his main can absorb ambient heat in the atmosphere and channel it to flame emitters in his hands.

Name: Ballistic
Function: Heavy Assault Specialist
Beast Mode: Grizzly Bear
Predaking Part: Left Leg
Motto: "Why do I keep smiling? It's just easier than being sad, is all."
Strength: 10+
Intelligence: 4.0
Speed: 4.0
Endurance: 9.9
Rank: 2.0
Courage: 10+
Firepower: 9.0
Skill: 3.0

'Optimistic' is too light a word to describe Ballistic's outlook on life. Early in her career as a Predacon warrior, she was subjected to the worst of the wars, being captured and taken to a Maximal Detention Center, where she was tortured brutally. But her bondmate, Savate, rescued her, defying the odds to break into the heavily fortified prison, thus proving to her that no matter how horrible things seem, they will always turn out for the best. She is incapable of feeling sad for more than a few nano-clicks, and it shows in her battlefield record, where she laughs her way to victory every time. Relishes her new techno-organic body, and is a little irritated with Tahoma for his squemishness about trying out ALL aspects of it, especially with her bondmate, now lover, Savate. Can lift 50 tons in robot and beast modes, and possesses a built-in plasma cannon in her right arm for her robot mode.

Name: Savate
Function: Intelligence
Plant Mode: Zalkan Poison Rose
Predaking Part: Right Arm & Sword
Motto: "It's not bragging if you ARE as good as you say you are."
Strength: 5.0
Intelligence: 10+
Speed: 7.0
Endurance: 6.0
Rank: 8.0
Courage: 4.0
Firepower: 1.0
Skill: 10+

Cunning, graceful, skilled, intelligent, and amazingly enough, he even manages to be a little humble. LOVES being a part of Predaking, sharing the mind of his bondmate and lover Ballistic, even if he does find it somewhat amusing that a plant, even a lethal, sentient, predatory plant such as the one his alt-mode is based on, is a part of such a legendary gestalt. Very little frightens him. In fact the only time he was really scared at all was when Ballistic was captured by Maximal Inquisitors and taken to the Alacon for torture and interrogation. He fought his way in using every bit of Predacon treachery he knew and rescued her, cementing their love for each other. Is indifferent to being techno-organic, but does see its advantages. In blossom mode, he can release clouds of a deadly neuro-chemical poison, one capable of dulling thought to the point of putting the victim into stasis lock. In robot mode, can grow several long, thorny vines that he can use as whips, tentacles, or form into a sword.

Name: Windrider
Function: Combat Artist
Beast Mode: Owl
Predaking Part: Left Arm & Wings

Intelligence: 7.0
Speed: 10+
Endurance: 4.0
Rank: 5.0
Courage: 8.0
Firepower: 2.0
Skill: 9.0

A cold-hearted warrior with a past she not all that proud of. Idolizes Slog, and considers herself to be his successor. Has committed atrocities in the name of art, only to be nearly turned into a murdered piece of art herself when she met Slog in person. Prefers to remain alone, and is not entirely comfortable with being a part of Predaking, although she treasures the few friendships she has. Wishes to understand Slog's artwork, but is afraid of alienating those she cares about to match his vision, and also more than a little squeamish about working with live, non-Vehicon drone subjects. Capable of completely silent flight in beast mode, and can become invisible to any form of detection. In robot mode, carries two superheated 'chisel' dart guns in her wrists that can fire spikes of metal superheated to 300 degrees Celsius. Can also use the spikes for carving her artwork.

Name: Aquarius
Function: Field Medic
Beast Mode: Giant Sea Turtle
Predaking Part: Left Leg & Shield

Intelligence: 9.0
Speed: 1.0
Endurance: 10.0
Rank: 7.0
Courage: 10.0
Firepower: 0.0
Skill: 10.0

A rarity among Predacons, he refuses to carry any form of weapon. The oldest of the group, he decided long ago that the war was foolish, and chose to save lives rather than end them. Despite his pacifist stance, he will not hesitate to fight if his comrades are in danger, and is slightly bothered by the way the minds of the group merge when they become Predaking. Other than that, he is a completely reliable defender and medic, and much more pragmatic than most pacifists. Shell is a thick, poly-metal allow and nearly invincible, containing pockets that can hold provisions and medical supplies. Can detach from him in robot mode and be used as a shield by both himself and by Predaking.

Speed: 9.0
Endurance: 5.0
Rank: 2.0
Courage: 10+
Firepower: 5.0
Skill: ??? ( Scanners glitched trying to gauge it )

To call Skittle unbalanced would be the greatest understandment of all time. Nearly every out of her mouth is based on an ancient TV saying, or is a song from a musical. She is unable to settle down for more than a mega-cycle, which drives even her fellow Junkions nuts, although for some reason has a charm that makes most who meet her like her instantly. Has an encyclopediac knowledge of Earth's popular culture from 1984 to the current year, especially related to music, which she loves. Idolizes Wreck-Gar, who was her personal trainer and the only one willing ( i.e., crazy enough ) to stay around her for more than a few minutes. Wields a diamond-tipped battleaxe in robot mode, along with a energon pulse cannon. Can go up to 170 mph in motorcycle mode. Friends with Ballistic, and views Tahoma as a 'cutey kitty,' much to the warrior's chagrin. Thinks the Predaking gestalt is 'cool,' and is glad that she decided to team up with the group.

Name: Starscream
Function: Vehicon Armada Second-In-Command
Vehicle Mode: Supersonic Fighter Jet
Motto: "Honor. Duty. Loyalty. To live without those words is to be a drone. Lifeless and meaningless."
Strength: 7.0
Intelligence: 8.0
Speed: 10+
Endurance: 6.0
Rank: 9.9
Courage: 9.0
Firepower: 6.0
Skill: 8.0

A Predacon Seeker before Megatron's takeover, she HATED being techno-organic, and jumped at the chance to be reformatted into a Vehicon. Not really evil, and nowhere near as treacherous as her namesake, but is a dedicated soldier and an inspiration to the other generals. She fights by Thrust's side because she does not believe in Cheetorimus Prime's cause, but is having more and more doubts as she works with the insane Vehicon warlord. Capable of flying at up Mach-7, and possessed of rapid fire air-to-ground missiles in jet mode. Possesses shoulder-mounted gatling guns that fire titanium-tipped bullets in robot mode.

Side Note: NOT a Jetstorm redeco.

Intelligence: 7.0
Speed: 9.0
Endurance: 5.0
Rank: 8.0
Courage: 3.0
Firepower: 7.0
Skill: 7.0

A humble technician before Megatron's takeover, she was one of the first victims of his transformation lock virus. Driven further insane once reformatted, she found herself in a slug beast mode that she couldn't transform out of, although in her growing madness it never occurred to her to seek out Cheetorimus or his comrades for help. Joined Thrust's Vehicons out of desperation to get a true robot body back, and serves alongside Starscream, loyal to the end. Possess gatling guns in her helicopter mode, her primary weapon is her voice, which she can modulate to any frequency to either hypnotize, cause great pain, cast illusions, and various other effects.

Courage: 9.0
Firepower: 6.0

Only slightly smarter than her partner, Pulse, in that she knows to get out of the way if Predaking is charging her at full speed. She values only two things: having fun and Pulse. Bondmates for years, she only joined Thrust's side to stay with Pulse, and makes sure constantly that he knows that. Cares little for the war, she just obeys Thrust because she's having fun and Pulse is enjoying herself. Possesses gatling missile launchers in robot mode, and can travel up to 90 mph in monster truck mode.

Knows that she's an idiot and little more than a weapon and doesn't really care. HATED being techno-organic, especially since her beast mode was a mouse, and was the first behind Starscream to join Thrust's side. Loves her ultra-thick armor and her arsenal, and takes any remarks about her lack of subtlety as a very sincere compliment. Possessed of ten rapid fire missile launchers in robot mode and mobile fortress mode, as well as gatling lasers in her chest and a handheld proton cannon in robot mode.

Name: Storm Maker
Function: Counter-Intelligence & Psychological Warfare
Vehicle Mode: Hovercraft

A former Maximal Inquisitor and personal assistant to the long-dead leader of the Maximal High Council, the sadistic Optimus Bombos, he was against the reformatting from the beginning. He despises Ballistic, as she was the only one ever to escape from his torture centers in the Alacon prison. Unbelievably skilled at both torture and manipulation, he hated being in an organic body and willingly accepted being reformatted by Thrust. Has realized the truth behind Thrust's new powers and delights in it, lording this secret over the other Vehicons, unknowingly affecting their morale. He is endlessly irritated by Skittle and is terrified of Windrider, and takes special care in trying to kill the two of them. Possesses twin gatling guns in hovercraft mode, and uses a missile launcher and heat rifle in robot mode.

Strength: 5.0
Intelligence: 5.0

Rank: 5.0
Courage: 5.0
Firepower: 5.0
Skill: 5.0

The only Vehicon with aquatic capacity to handle Cybertron's new, natural waterways, he treasures his new form, as he is exceedingly average in everything else. Exceedingly insecure, he will oftentimes overdo something to try and make it seem like he's done something worthwhile. Desperately afraid of being left behind or disregarded, he was the first after Starscream to join up. A good soldier, but seemingly doomed to being average. Possesses plasma bomb depth charges and plasma torpedoes in submarine mode, as well as sonic capacity to control his drones from the other side of the planet. Uses a high pressure water cannon in robot mode that focuses water so tightly that it can cut through steel.
