Beachcomber seals the Sun-Pak in a waterproof bag. Then he splashes into the shallow pool.

Around him colourful fish swim. His sensors lead him to an underground stream. He enters the stream and follows it. It twists and turns.

I should have taken the other path, he thinks. Just then, the stream breaks into open air.

Beachcomber looks up. Above him the sun is shining in a bright blue sky.

Quickly he climbs out of the stream. He places the Sun-Pak on a flat, dry rock. He sets its controls to "Charge." Then he stretches out by the rock. While the battery is charging, he looks atthe mountains and trees.

"This is a magnificent planet," he says to himself. "I wish I could just sit here and study it for days."

But soon a buzzing sound tells him that his peaceful time is over. A dark shadow passes over him. He looks up and sees Kickback, the Insecticon!
