The mighty Megatron appears before the terrified Decepticons. "It doesn't matter how I found you," says Megatron. "What matters is that I have found you. And I know what you're up to, traitor!" There is a loud click, and the tape recording begins to play. Starscream's voice is unmistakeable: "At long last the Decepticons will obey me as their rightful leader."

"You don't understand, Megatron," Starscream babbles desperately. "I was only joking. I've never wanted to do anything but serve you. Ask Bombshell! He knows I'm loyal! He's been with me the whole time!"

"It's true that I've been with Starscream, Mighty Megatron," says the Insecticon. "But I have been trying to talk him out of his treasonous plans!"

"Liar!" shouts Starscream. "I'll get you for this, you tin-plated grasshopper!"

"Silence!" thunders Megatron. "I have suspected that you plot behind my back, Starscream. But at last I have proof. That proof is much more important than this miserable human. Release him! And you return to headquarters immediately for reprogramming - or you will feel the might of the entire Decepticon force!"
