Kickback

Kickback is the cutest of all the Insecticons. Just look at those little antennae! Don't you just want to take him home and feed him industrial quantities of strawberry puddi ...

( A hook yanks Kickback off-screen. The sounds of a fight can be heard. Several minutes later, Bombshell comes out, looking a bit scruffed up. )

Ignore him. Kickback is pretty much just the Third Insecticon. He hangs out with me and Shrapnel to round out the trine. In theory he's some kind of spy, but I've never seen him do any espionage.

Transformers: Universe Profile

Profile: Kickback is as charming a guy as you'll ever meet - but it is a charm rooted in an uncommonly cruel cleverness. The singular purpose of any friendship that this Insecticon begins is to dig up embarrassing facts about the other robot or person so that Kickback can influence his "friend" into doing his bidding. Humans are particularly susceptible to his seductive talents, but even Autobots have been known to succumb. The only thing Kickback enjoys more than recruiting these unwilling double agents is destroying them after he's exhausted their usefulness.

Abilities: In his insect mode, Kickback can use his powerful leg modules to propell him up to heights of 40 feet and distances of a tenth of a mile. Although small in this form, a single kick can punch a hole in a 1/4" steel plate. In robot form he can use his wings to fly at speeds up to 30 mph for distances up to 100 miles. He carries a sub-machine gun that can shoot up to 300 rounds per minute of armour-piercing titanium-coated bullets.

Weaknesses: Kickback's lack of weaponry makes him extremely vulnerable in insect mode. The nature of his leaping and flying abilities hampers his mobility in moderate winds.

Kickback

More Than Meets The Eye Profile

Bio: Kickback is sincerely interested in having others tell him their deepest thoughts or darkest secrets. It's not because he's concerned with making them feel better by unburdoning themselves; he just wants ammunition for his blackmail arsenal. With a greasy charm that's almost supernatural, Kickback convinces others - humans, Autobots, and even fellow Decepticons - that he's their closest friend. He then uses his personal influence to get them to perform increasingly difficult "favours" for him in exchange for his continued friendship and silence regarding their dirty secrets. In this respect, Kickback is as much a master of psychology as Bombshell. And like Bombshell, Kickback enjoys destroying his victims emotionally and physically when he's done with them.

Weapons/Abilities: Subject is incredibly intelligent and very skilled at his function. In insect mode, he can kick a hole through 1/4 inch of solid steel. He can fly at a maximum speed of 30 mph for approximately 100 miles, in both modes. As a robot, he's armed with a sub-machine gun that fires 2,490 rounds per breem.

Weaknesses: Subject is very weak physically and is susceptible to strong winds during flight.
